3M File Belt Sander
3M has just introduced a file belt sander that uses 18" long belts. Lighter and more powerful than competitive models, we are excited to offer these at a special introductory price.
The 3M File Belt Sander is available as a tool only or in a starter kit. The tool uses 18" long belts in 1/8", 1/4", 1/2", 5/8" and 3/4" wide. There is a special rubber drive wheel for improved performance with non-woven ScotchBrite surface conditioning belts.
A selection of various contact arms are available to provide versatility. If there is a speciatly arm not available from 3M, the contact arms offer by Dynabrade are interchangeable and we have a full selection of those also.
3M Abrasives to mate with the 3M File Belt Sander
Maxwell Products stocks a wide selection of abrasives for the 3M File Belt Sander. We specialize in belts for finishing stainless steel and aluminum, including Regalite Polycut belts that are constructed with a ceramic abrasive blend an a grinding aid to minimize heat build-up and work hardening as well as a full selection of ScotchBrite Surface Conditioning belts for graining. We have other belts that allow for a near-mirror finish and polishing belts and compounds to finish to a true mirror.
